We have camped here several times. Beautiful view of the river. It is located next to the park / swimming area, so you get a lot of noise from people at the beach, loud boats and music. It can get extremely windy, so plan ahead and secure your tent and belongings. They water the grass monday-friday, so you have to move your tent and belonging off the grass every day or they get soaked. The grass wasn't always dry by sunset, when we set our tent back up. No running water, so make sure to bring your own. 10 pm is quiet time in the campground, would be great if more people would respect their neighbors trying to sleep only a few feet away. We had our dog on a leash constantly, and clean up after them. Unfortunately, none of our neighboring campers kept their dogs on a leash. The beach area is very rocky. Water sandals/shoes are mandatory. Lots of dog poop on the lawn above the swimming area, people DO NOT CLEAN up after their pets. Gross! Dogs are not allowed in the beach area. The pit toilet doesn't have a light, only light at night is from nearby street light through the window. There are houses nearby, so you can hear loud voices and music coming from them at all hours.

Stayed at Priest Rapids campground last weekend very pretty scenery and a really nice boat launch and walking trails, golf course right down the road. Would stay there again next time we are over that way, well worth the trip and the stay.
