About West Maui Cycles

West Maui Cycles rental fleet is one of the largest in the Hawaiian Islands with over 100 rental bikes including road bikes, hybrid bikes and cruisers. No matter what your bicycling itineraries, we have the solution for your cycling enjoyment. We feature Specialized Performance Road Bikes in sizes from 48cm to 61cm. These bikes are perfect for the West Maui Loop, a 60 mile loop around the West Maui mountains where you will enjoy varied terrain and scenery ranging from the beaches of Kaanapali to the rainforest area near Kahakuloa. Many cyclists consider this the highlight of their vacation to Maui. Others choose the epic ride "up" Haleakala, a relentless climb of 10,000 feet and 36 miles considered one of the most difficult hill climbs around. A special treat for serious cyclist is to test the winding curves of the famous road to Hana.

We are a family owned and operated, full service bicycle shop on Maui featuring sales, service and rentals of quality bicycles. We carry a complete line of cycling clothing with special Aloha cycling jerseys.

West Maui Cycles Attractions

West Maui cycles is conveniently located off the highway in Lahaina Town on the west side of the Pizza Hut and near the Mind's Eye Furniture building.
Store hours
9 am to 5 pm HST, Monday - Saturday
10 am to 4 pm on Sundays.

Terms & Conditions

Use the 'Unit' drop menu to choose your preferred size of bicycle. Each bike is the same make and model that has a name or number we use internally for tracking purposes.

Cancellation Policy and Reservation NO Shows:
Cancellation before 48 hours of pick up no charge. Failure to call before 48 hours or pick up will be charged for the first day of rental equivalent to the type of bicycle rented.


All charges are made and will be re-calculated when the bike is picked up at the store.
