I would certainly agree with other travelers that this is one of the best parks for overnight stays and/or extended stay. Beautiful, peaceful and very affordable. So glad we found this gem in the Good Sams book, but would give it higher ratings than Good Sam. This was meant for senior citizens who just want to have a nice relaxing get away. a family who could enjoy the park and monthly sites for full timers. It is set in a great environment with trees and river scenery. If you are in Brownwood....this is the place to stay.
A very pleasant place to stay

It's small, it's clean, it was closeasthis to the event we came to town for. I thought that the space (in my mind) wouldn't be suitable but were we surprised. Nothing to block our view of the park that we came to the Heartland Rod Run for. Not that expensive to be so close. Enjoyed talking with the one running the reservations. If there was anything negative to say was that when I was close to the restrooms, I entered one just to wash my hands, there was a soap dispenser BUT there was no soap so it was just a rinse and go. No I didn't look in the other restroom. It was clean though. Thank you and we may see you again next year.
Riverside park RV

Nice quite little RV park in the center of town and yet for enough off the main highway to be private and quiet . Very close to major stores such as Wal-Mart Home Depot . Yes we will stay there any time we are traveling through !!!
Country feel yet right in town

Great little park in a great location! All sites are paved, pull-through, full hook-up, and most are shady. Park and facilities were very clean and neat, and our host, Giles, was helpful and accommodating. Park is bordered by the Pecan Bayou, a golf course, and a city park. Large grocery store and many restaurants are a couple blocks away. And the city of Brownwood has anything you could want. Be sure to have breakfast at the Red Wagon Restaurant. They have the best homemade biscuits I've ever tasted!

This RV park was recommend by the person at the Visitors Center at the train museum. She was right, very pretty, quiet, private and pleasant.

Absolutely the best rv park to date. We have been on the road for about 4 years and this place is the best. Everything here is superb. Picturesque. Water on one side park on the other. Customer service was professional and courteous. Thanks for making our stay pleasant!
Three night stay

Such a nice, clean and quiet RV park by the river and city park. Stayed a third night(in May), after reserving only two. Owner was so accommodating, friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again when in town to visit family!!

Very nice small park right on the river as advertised. Lots of grass fields to run the dogs.

Arrived at park. Called the #. Nice guy and got a site. Super easy and a great site outside this beautiful park by the river. Wifi worked. Will definitely camp here again ðÂÂÂ

My husband & I have stayed here 2 times now while needing a place to stop over on our way home from New Mexico. It's a beautiful spot & well maintained. The park is right across the street which my dog loves that. You can't beat the price & they usually always have a spot open at the last minute. Have never met Giles but he is very friendly on the phone & prompt about getting your reservation taken care of. Thank you Riverside Park RV!

Close in to Brownwood and a wonderful place to stay. Good Folks running it and easy in and out. My go to place when I'm in that neck of the woods.

Giles is always helpful and prompt. Love this spot on the riverside, great little park with Frisbee golf, and incredibly convenient to everything in town.
