While others are steering through downtown crowds or busy bike routes, we’ll point you to the quiet corners where you can breathe easy and enjoy the best lake and forest vistas Mackinac has to offer.

Choose your primary destination:

Arch Rock: Look out on Lake Huron from high above the water. Arch Rock might have been formed when glaciers carved through the area more than 10,000 years ago, or it might have been created by Giant Fairies for special purposes. There are multiple origin stories of this iconic limestone formation and we’ll provide both the history and the lore.

Sugar Loaf Rock: Stand below one of the most distinctive limestone promontories in the Great Lakes region. Turn your gaze just so and you’ll be able to see what some legends say is the handiwork of the great shaman Maniboajo. We can also point out where you might find wild raspberries.

We will custom tailor your tour and travel through cedar lined trails and past limestone outcroppings to the destinations of your choice, along the way visiting Arch Rock, Nicolet Watch Tower, Sugar Loaf Rock, Point Lookout, Skull Cave, Fort Holmes, and other points of special interest, high above the Bay of Voyageurs.

While we hike, choose from any details you want your guide to focus on, e.g. natural history, local community, legend and lore, or even a quiet experience.
