About Tech In The City•Wi-Fi Rentals
The WiFi•PoS network in the Exhibition Hall provides a WiFi PoS (Point-of-Sale) device(unit) with an Isolated, Encrypted and Private IP Address routed to the Internet through an allocated 5-DLx2-UL Mbps connection.
You may also use this service to connect other Wi-Fi devices to the internet through this network.
1st - Click on BOOK or BOOK NOW
2nd - Select the days you wish to have Wi-Fi access for YOUR device(s)
3rd - Select the number of devices(units) you want to connect to the network
4th - Click NEXT to see your estimate.
5th - Click CONTINUE to complete the reservation information. PLEASE fill in COMMENT field with your Booth number and/or other pertinent information.
6th - Select PayPal / Credit card payment option to use PayPal as our Credit Card Processor - Or use your PayPal Account if you have one.
7th - We review and confirm your reservation
8th - On the day you wish to go online, we setup your network and issue you a password to Log On YOUR Wi-Fi enabled PoS device(s) at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall.
Please call us for Same Day activations. It may take 15 - 30 minutes for us to configure your secured connection.
You will be assigned a single (or pool of) Private IP address(es) for your Wi-Fi enabled device(s).
For Security Reasons, these IP Addresses will not be able to communicate with each other. - IF YOU NEED TO USE A PRINTER or other device on the same network please contact us.
Each device will be allocated a 5 Mbps DL (Download) x 2 Mbps UL (Upload) connection directly to the internet.
Our PoS Wi-Fi service is Secure and can be Less Expensive than using a 4G/5G Hotspot in your booth! - However, renting a 4G/5G HotSpot from us may be a better choice if you have more than 4 or 6 Wi-Fi devices in your booth.
When we confirm your reservation we will provide you with a Password to allow the number of Wi-Fi connections you have subscribed to logon to your network.
When you logon to the network, an IP Address that has been assigned to your account will be locked to your device, and ONLY YOUR device, for the duration of your reservation time. - - You cannot change devices. PLEASE BE SURE TO ONLY LOGON WITH THE DEVICE(S) YOU WILL BE USING.
Unlike using your Smartphone or your HotSpot to provide a Wi-Fi connection to your Wi-Fi device, we can provide you with a Wi-Fi connection throughout the Exhibition Hall that has been provisioned with truly Unlimited Data with No Throttling and No Data Overage Fees.
PLEASE NOTE: This network is designed to provide a PoS Wi-Fi network over the floor area of the Exhibition Hall. This does not include the Meeting Rooms or in the Hawaii Suites area.
PoS devices typically do not even require the High 5 Mbps DL x 2 Mbps UL Bandwidths we provide, depending on the configuration of your device you may experience Bandwidth/Speeds that may be slightly lower than the 5 Mbps DL x 2 Mbps UL allocated per device when in weaker reception areas of the Exhibit Hall or when in congested or overloaded areas of the network.
