Arrived and left before we set up

This may be a great place to camp if you are given a good spot. I reserved a spot for 4 people to camp in tents. When we got there and saw the spot it looked like a joke. You could maybe get one tent up in the spot but it would likely be in a mud puddle by the morning, seeing it was predicted to rain. The space our tent would have to go was the same space our vehicle had to go, not much room for both. And since there was 4 of us we planned to use two tents, and this was not going to happen. We arrived after the attendant had gone home, so there wasn't much we could do but leave. As we were driving out I noticed another site that didn't look much better for tent camping. So, from my experience I don't recommend this campground for tent camping. It will likely be a must mess if it rains.

Great place to camp before heading into the Sequoia Park. Clean, well maintained, nice shower, and restrooms The camp Host is very friendly and helpful. She has been kind and professional every time weâve stayed.

For those who fall somewhere between enjoying camping in the backcountry and needing a hotel, this is your place. Shady, spacious and level campsites with fire rings, picnic tables, clean pit toilets, outdoor sink, and heated showers. Perfect location for hitting Sequoia and Kings Canyon easily while having the convenience of a a town (gas, food). The campsite attendant (the only one I encountered) was super friendly and helpful. I wish I remembered her name so I could give her a special shout-out.

Lacking anemities

The campsite itself is beautiful and placed close to the entrance to Sequoia. Beware that it since it's outside of the park and therefore at ground level, it can get incredibly hot in the summer - sleeping was tough even in the shadow, the sites run by the parks at higher elevation are a better option in the high season. A bit disappointing were the shower & toilets - both inside port-a-potties, crawling with ants, and no potable water anywhere. Not a huge deal for an overnight stay, but something to keep in mind for longterm camping. The owners were very friendly but have some more than questionable political views that I could overhear in a conversation with another camper. Apparently you're a fascist if you vote Democrat or believe that black lives matter. Not entirely sure how safe a campgrounds run by people with those views is for minorities.

Kaweah Oaks was perfect for us. Lovely walk in sites, each feels like it's own space with nice vegetation around. Warm showers, one indoor the other you can see the tree tops, great way to shower! Comfortable sites with a fire ring and picnic table. Some of the sites you can see the signs from across the road, but it wasn't a problem for sleeping. A few sites (middle) there's a power line, not super visible but there. We had one of these sites and didn't mind at all but I mention it because I know people who would. We needed a camping spot at lower elevation but that was close to the park and this was perfect. Bring drinking water! There's water but not potable. The people who run it are very nice and keep a close eye on ins & outs so I felt very safe. Be sure to hit up the jerky bar for some great jerky! No pets, great for us bc my daughter has a dog phobia & can never relax camping. We love KO and will definitely come back! Thanks for making this little oasis.

From the moment we arrive and ring the bell, Nikki greet us pleasantly and welcome us to the Campground! Nikki show us all the amenities and our reserved site. Very clean and organized Affordable, even though was close to highway we couldn't ask for more! Very accessible just in case we need it something. But we came prepared just to buy ice st rhe near store Tatum, also all the workers were very pleasant. Of the Camps ate full and no where to stay, this is the place to stay. Tnx for such a great time! Our kids love it. Tnx again for the great memories!

Great location. In center of tow, Close to all amenities. Close to Sequoia and Mineral King. Quaint campsites. Will stay here again!

Very cute place right off the highway ...very close to stores gas and food but my favorite was the ice cream shop across the street a must go

My friend and I car-camped here before we headed to Mineral King for an extended backpacking trip and KOC was great! Nice clean site with a warm shower! And you can walk across the street to get some good food and beer at the River View Restaurant. The camp host (Nikki) is super friendly and has an awesome dog who will love you! Looking forward to staying here in the future...

Poor business practices, the gentlemen named Jeff, not sure if heâÃÂÃÂs the owner or the camp manager but he is an extremely rude individual. Walked into our campground at 9:30 at night as we were relaxing around the fire and said âÃÂÃÂhe was gonna need some more cash from usâÃÂàbecause our 13 year old daughter decided to join us and stay the night. We had one tent, on vehicle and 3 people total in the campground. When I asked him to explain himself he told me IâÃÂÃÂd better not be a smartass with him. Pretty threatening and very unprofessional if you ask me. IâÃÂÃÂm not sure how a man like him could still be in business. We will not stay there again and I wouldnâÃÂÃÂt recommend this campground to anyone else.
