Amazing View, Amazing Property

This was our second consecutive year staying in a LEP Property in Playa Potrero. Two families of four, each with young children. The location is outstanding with amazing views of the sunset each evening and an elevated pool to enjoy the view and keep cool. We have enjoyed taking out the kayaks and the stand up paddle boards. The house is very clean and well maintained. Potrero is not as busy as some other beaches, which we really enjoy, yet this property is a short drive to other busier towns along the coast such as Tamarindo. We are looking forward to a third stay next year.

Casa de Suenos Rental

Mucho Gusto! Yes, we had a great time with our family on the beach. There were 8 adults, and there was plenty of luxurious room. The location was awesome in Playa Potrero and the accommodations were fantastic. Jimmy was extremely helpful in organizing several group activities, and Marvin & Reine provided special oversight of the property. My parents used to have a beach condo a few minutes further down the beach and so we chose this location again for our family trip. Great memories from the past and great memories were gained again on this latest visit. Thank you to Cheryl and Ellen at LEP for their awesome assistance for this memorable vacation! We love Costa Rica and hope to return again as a couple or with the entire group! What a fantastic trip...thank you once again! Pura Vida!
Casa de Suenos Rental

We just returned from a wonderful week at Villa Augustina and the wonderful folks at LEP Costa Rica. Everything was amazing, well organized, and beautiful. The villa is perfect, comfortable, nicely located, and well appointed. If any small issues arose, it was handled quickly and professionally. We cannot recommend experiencing for yourselves the warm people and interesting country that Guanacaste demonstrated. It was an amazing time away and we hope to return down the road. Thank you particularly to Jimmy, Ellen, Colleen, our fun tour guides, and the people and staff of Reserva Conchal. You are all missed. . .
Casa de Suenos- Absolutely Wonderful!

Our stay at Casa de Suenos was absolutely wonderful. The setting on the water is beautiful and there is easy access to the beach. The sunsets from the deck were spectacular. We had lots of room for our family members, the house was perfect for our needs. It was a treat to prepare meals in the well equipped kitchen as well as to have the use of the barbecue. We are very appreciative of Reina and Marvin and all they did to make our holiday memorable. We were within easy walking distance of a grocery store and restaurants. For longer excursions, Jimmy at LEP graciously arranged a van and driver for us. This arrangement worked very well as we were able to visit restaurants and see areas that we would not have found ourselves. We recommend you do this in lieu of renting cars, One of the highlights of our stay was the pool which was a âÂÂhitâ with the adults and children in our group. We highly recommend this property and found Jimmy very accommodating in helping us with arrangements.
Great Stay

We had a great stay at the Villa. Beautiful sunsets every night, the ocean is just steps away. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need. We spent most of our time on the Veranda which was a great set up with an outside kitchen, and in the pool. Reyna came in everyday and did any cleaning that needed to be done. Having the Pre stocking of the food for when we arrived was great. There were 10 adults so the only suggestion would be more lounging chairs that could be put on the lawn or taken to beach. Nice restaurants close by . Was hoping to snorkel where we were, but there are tours you can take. Definitely need some sort of transportation if you want to venture out. We rented golf carts but were pretty limited.

We have stayed at Casa de Suenos for a January Wellness Retreat the last seven years. We are a group of nine to twelve friends each year. Some couples and some singles. The house is beautiful and comfortable. It is just a few steps from Playa Potrero. LEP has been very prompt and helpful with our reservations and information. The best part of Casa de Suenos is Marvin, the grounds keeper, and Reina the housekeeper. They have become our very good friends over the years. They are always right there to help when needed. Marvin even chops open our coconuts for us! We look forward each year for our short trip to heaven at Casa de Suenos. I highly recommend LEP and Casa de Suenos.

Stayed over New Year's, disappointing!

Casa de Suenos was a disappointment and quite expensive. We had sewer backup in the basement bedroom three of our 7 nights there, the AC went off nightly throughout the whole house, and the lights and fans worked intermittently. The caretaker was the best part of the house. I was told we wold be compensated for dealing with the sewage backup every day but nothing has been done. A disgrace.
Malinche 37A Penthousr

Stayed one week in the Malinche 37A penthouse. The views were simply amazing! The condo itself was large and well decorated, and had ample space both inside and on the outdoor deck for our group. A few minor issues were quickly resolved by Jimmy at LEP. A major reason for us staying there was access to the Beach Club and itâs ammenities - simply stunning! And free shuttle to/from our room to the beach club was even nicer. One small but unexpected detail was the $100 additional cost from Reserva Conchal to be able to charge food and services to the condo. The fee was not required, but necessary if you didnât want to carry around your credit cards, and gave you a 25% discount at the restaurants. Well worth it but still unexpected. We would highly recommend this condo! Pura Vida!
Casa Stuart/Copacabana: nice but not as expected

We rented Casa Stuart/Copacabana in Potrero right on the beach. We picked the house because we had 3 generations and wanted easy, flat access to the beach and many houses are on cliffs or require a walk to get to a reasonable beach. The house was generally clean but much more worn than the old (not current) pictures represented. The TV in the living room, hot water faucet in one bedroom, several fans and lights, and one of the washers didn't work. They did fix the washer and dryer while we were there but the other items are apparently awaiting parts from the owner and have been for several months (these were not recently broken items). The upstairs bedrooms are also a ridiculous configuration (also not disclosed). The master was accessible from inside the house but up a very narrow, steep spiral staircase (not safe for kids or older adults). To get to the other 2 bedrooms, you had to go into the courtyard, up different staircases, and use a key. So you were locked into your room and out of the house unless you had a set of keys (only 2 sets provided). LEP was unresponsive to the concerns after our rental. I guess they got their money and don't care anymore. Everything LEP recommended to us was also way over priced. Use Mytanfeet blog instead--it's great.

The property is beautiful and amazing the staff is awesome . the condo its self was just great. The few problems i had was with the process of booking. Instead of an up yo date app where you just enter your info and send it. They have a sort of out of date way of sending emails with long and confusing attachments which my email had a hard time filling out. This whole process could be streamlined . and then paying was kinda confusing process as well as buying grocieres from them. I think they have a super friendly stsff just behind the times on their processes and could use some updates.
Siete Palmas is a piece of paradise!

Siete Palmas (Seven Palms) is a newly renovated vacation property mere steps from Potrero Beach. The view of the ocean from the upstairs living room is exquisite and mesmerizing. I would recommend this property to any snowbird looking to feather their nest for the winter season. It has privacy, great amenities and the price is right. Restaurants and grocery stores are within walking distance. We have been to Costa Rica many times and enjoyed this property thoroughly.
