About Montpelier E-bike Lending Library
The Montpelier E-bike Lending Library, a program of Local Motion, consists of two e-bikes that are available for multi-day loans throughout the year, providing residents with access to borrow an e-bike. The goal is to provide residents with an opportunity to try an e-bike in their daily lives without the financial commitment, and to allow residents to learn what the best type of e-bike is for them.
These loans are for 7 days, starting on Saturday, with pick-up from 12 - 1 pm at the at the Fountain on the VCFA College Green off College St, Montpelier. .. Return is on the following Saturday from 9 -10 am at the at the Fountain on the VCFA College Green off College St, Montpelier.
Reservations are made available for booking 2 months at a time.
July & August reservations will open at the end of June.
September and October reservations will open at the end of August.
How to Reserve an E-Bike:
- Scroll down past the pictures and read the descriptions of each e-bike
- When you've decided which e-bike you'd like, click the red "BOOK" button next to it's name
- You'll be taken to the booking calendar for the e-bike, where you can find an available loan period and reserve your e-bike!
If an e-bike is unavailable, please come back to this page and fill out our waitlist!
