- Viewpoint photo stops at both major lookout points, Mather Point and Bright Angel Lodge
- Hike 0.5 mi (30 minutes approximately) half mile round-trip on a paved trail to a spectacular view of the canyon (optional)
- Total visit duration is 3 to 4 hours at the South Rim
