About Racine County Parks - Office

Reservations for picnic sites are accepted from the second working day in January, throughout the picnic season, and are available on a first come first served basis. Payments must be made in full when the reservation is made A reservation includes the site for the day and permission to have beer at your picnic. Be sure to find out more about picnic sites through the information on this site. The person making the reservation is responsible to make sure the picnic activities are within county ordinances, or they should request "special use" permission for their activity. Special use permissions would include things like amplified sound/music; entertainment like bouncy houses, DJ's, clowns; or fundraisers or events where the general public is invited to partake. In these instances when you send us your picnic plans, Racine County reviews them to see if we can grant special permission for your picnic. Simply call us and we can help you with this. Racine County Parks - Office Attractions

Cliffside is a great place in July and August because there are always lake breezes!
Eagle Lake is beautiful because it is on a lake.
The same is true with Quarry Lake Park. Any time of the season, it is beautiful to look out on to the water of the Quarry.
Col. Heg Park in Wind Lake has a bonus if you go in the summer months. The Norway Historical Society has a great museum and it is open on summer weekends. There are also other historic buildings in the park.
Pritchard Park is a favorite because of its great location and ability to host parties over 150 people. Old Settlers is the perfect park for family reunions or weddings. Many of the buildings have electric and water, and it is very accessible to the public. Old Settlers is used by the Racine County Ag. Society during the Racine County Fair.
