About Paddlers & SnowWalkers Gathering~VT

March 13 -15 Our conferences are a mixture of hands-on workshops, slide shows, films and readings. There are shows about winter trips both close to home and in far-flung areas of the north. Presentations about First Nations perspectives and knowledge are intermixed with talks by researchers who study northern environments. A presentation about the history of an area may be followed by a talk about the effects of climate change in the arctic. There are readings of poetry, short stories and essays
