Choosing a Merchant Account Provider

Previous topic Next topic

In order to automate booking payments, you will need to have a merchant account or a gateway account that is compatible with WebReserv.

Find a compatible merchant account provider

If you don't have a merchant account already, you can find a list of recommended merchant account providers on our website:

http://www.webreserv.com/recommended-merchant-account-providers.do

We recommend that you contact one or two of the merchant account providers on the list to get the best transaction fees for your business. Using one of the recommend merchant account providers usually results in the lowest transaction fees possible.

Virtual all US-issued merchant accounts can be used with the WebReserv Booking System, however, depending on who your payment processor is, you may need to get a gateway account.

WebReserv is connected to Chase Paymentech (Orbital) and First Data Global Gateway. If you use either of these as your payment processor today, you can integrate it directly with WebReserv.com. Please see the next section, Connecting your merchant account with WebReserv, to learn how to integrate your account with WebReserv.com.

If you are not using Chase Paymentech or First Data Global Gateway as your payment processor, you will need to get a gateway account from Authorize.net. You can click the link directly to sign up and get more information about Authorize.net, or you can contact your existing merchant account provider to get their help to set up the gateway account from Authorize.net.
